Joy Lima
Dancer
A native of Massachusetts, Joy’s early training began at The Dance Academy in Fall River MA. She continued at The International Ballet Academy of Norwell under Cosmin Marculetiu, and Ballet Prestige under Vera Kurmasheva and Zhanat Baidaralin. She was also fortunate to be coached by acclaimed Ukrainian Ballet Master Alexei Badrak.
As a dual enrolled high school and college student, Joy was an apprentice with Spindle City Ballet and Providence Ballet Theatre. After graduation Joy danced with Columbia Classical Ballet in South Carolina for several seasons.
After relocating to the West Coast, Joy spent multiple seasons dancing with Central West Ballet in Modesto, California. There she danced corp de ballet and demi-soloist roles in many full length productions and choreography showcases.
