Grace Hall
Dancer
Born and raised on Martha's Vineyard, Grace Hall (she/her) was first introduced to dance at her mother's dance school, Kaleidoscope Dance. At the age of 9 she began commuting to Cape Cod to attend Atlantic Coast Academy of Dance. There, she furthered her intensive ballet study for six years joining the school's resident company, Coastal Dance Company. Grace went on to earn her high school diploma as a dance major at Walnut Hill School for the Arts under director Michael Owen.
Grace then attended Vassar College where she danced in the on-campus company Vassar Repertory Dance Theater (VRDT). With VRDT, Grace had the honor of dancing in pieces by Amy Hall Garner, Mark Morris, Harriet Clark, Mike Tyus, and many original works choreographed by her fellow company members.
In summers spent on the Vineyard, Grace dances in the Vineyard's homegrown dance festival Built on Stilts where she not only performs, but also works as the stage manager and the director of children's programs.
Since graduating from Vassar, Grace has taught dance on the Vineyard at Kaleidoscope Dance and performed for the newly formed company, Ballet MV.
