      Illness or Injury

    • Students who are ill should not come to class.

    • Extended illness requires a doctor’s note when returning to class.

    • Injured dancers in the Pre-Professional and Dance Arts Divisions are required to observe classes and take notes so they are familiar with the curriculum when they return to class.

  • Why we wear a uniform

Our uniform is an integral part of the NAB School experience. The uniform indicates that students are in a special learning environment and allows teachers to clearly see the student’s body. This allows instructors to provide feedback on proper alignment and correct positions.

    Cover-up suggested
For the safety of our students, we ask that a cover-up be worn over ballet attire when traveling to and from the studios.

    • Classroom attire is noted for each level on our division pages and in the Parent Portal.

    • For all ballet classes, hair must be secured away from the face, those with short hair can use a headband, those with long hair must have it in a secure bun.

    • If a student does not have the proper attire or secure hair, they may be asked to sit and observe the class.

    • Exceptions to the dress code are at the discretion of the teacher.

    • Going on Pointe is an exciting milestone for any young ballerina. NAB School takes many considerations into account when deeming a student is ready to go on pointe.

    • Students enrolled in Pre-Pointe Classes must have a copy of the Perfect Pointe System Workbook at the beginning of the semester. Purchase Here.

    • Pre-Pointe is a two year program beginning in Level 2 to educate and strengthen dancers to be able to go on pointe without risk of injury.

    • After completing our carefully crafted Pre-Pointe program, each student must be evaluated by a dance PT and provide the School with a signed form indicating they are ready for pointe. If children are not approved by a dance physical therapist, they will not be allowed on pointe for their safety.

    • Students new to pointe must have each new pair of shoes evaluated by a teacher prior to sewing and wearing them.

    • Class Change Requests must be submitted via email to the NAB School before a student can move to another class. Not all class change requests may be accommodated.

    • Tuition is structured in an open-enrollment format. Tuition is pro-rated based on start date and includes the remainder of the semester/school year.

    • Payment installment plans are available. NAB needs a card on file and will bill the registered classes the first of each month for the duration of classes.

    • There is a 10% discount for any classes, programs, or camps that are paid in full.

    • Withdrawal notification must be submitted via email and received by NAB School. A $30 withdrawal fee will be charged to the account.

    • If you have any further questions about tuition or billing please

      contact info@northatlanticballet.org
