From the depths of the ocean, one little mermaid is convinced the surface is where the magic is at. Join as she journeys to the evil Sea Witch’s lair in the hopes of becoming a human with a soul on lands she has only heard tales of from her older sisters. The mysterious land above calls to her, but at what cost?

Showcasing new choreography by Ilya Vidrin & Lucy Warren-Whitman as part of our 1:2 Choreography Lab, and the revival of Dogtown Phantoms. All three works set against the lush Cape Ann landscape because we strive to bring ballet to your doorstep while you immerse yourself in the freedom of outdoor performances.

Star crossed lovers torn between two feuding families…
In North Atlantic Ballet’s world premiere, a time-honored classic, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, tells the turbulent tale of forbidden desire. Divided by long-lived familial turmoil, two young romantics are destined for tragedy when they find themselves in love. Despite its scandal, their passion prevails, ultimately ending in devastation… or does it?

Filled with joy, celebration, and excitement, the holiday season truly is the best time of the year. Accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, The Nutcracker is oozing with holiday magic! Young Clara’s world is turned upside down when the Nutcracker she is gifted blossoms into a prince! Together, they journey through the Land of Sweets where they are enchanted by scrumptious treats and wondrous characters!
