NAB Youth is a commitment to our community by offering rare opportunities to children to perform in productions on a professional level.
Nutcracker Auditions
Dancers ages 5 - 18 are encouraged to join NAB’s upcoming production of The Nutcracker. Performing at The Cabot Theater in Beverly, MA, NAB has 5 shows December 15-17th. Rehearsals will run on Saturdays and Sundays depending on role, starting October 14th in our Everett studios.
Please note: Students ages 11+ will need to audition for roles, while ages 5 - 10 will be placed in roles.
This is an incredible opportunity for young dancers and committed students to live out their Nutcracker dreams and dance alongside the Sugar Plum Fairy!
Sunday, September 8th
Placements:
Ages 5 - 7 | 12:00 - 12:45 pm
(no prior dance training required)
Ages 8 - 10 | 1:00 - 1:45
Auditions:
Ages 11 - 13 | 2 - 2:45 pm
Ages 14 + | 3 - 3:45 pm

Once parked please walk up the ramp and take your first left into the building. Once inside take a right where you will see a sign for North Atlantic Ballet.

Attire:
Ages 5 - 10: Clothes they can move in
Ages 11 +:
Leotard and tights
Pointe shoes for those already on pointe

Arrive 15 min before your audition time slot to register.
The placement/audition fee of $25 is required at the time of child’s casting call. Payment forms accepted: cash, venmo or check (made out to North Atlantic Ballet).

Rehearsal Notes:
Rehearsals begin October 26th on Saturdays and Sundays depending on role assignment.
Rehearsals for The Nutcracker will be posted on the Google calendar available on the Nutcracker Cast Info page when casting goes out

Tuesday, December 17th:
9:30 am : Call to theater for ages 8+
9:30 - 10 am: Meeting with Artistic Director
10 am - 12 pm: Tech rehearsal
12 - 1 pm: Warm up class for all dancers on pointe
1 - 2 pm: Lunch break & prepare for dress rehearsal
1 pm: Call to theater for ages 5-7 (Cast A only)
1 - 2 pm: Tech rehearsal for ages 5-7 (Cast A only)
2 - 5 pm: Dress rehearsal Cast A
Wednesday, December 18th:
